Sahur? I'm still full from Iftar...

The plan to have an Iftar over at Pakcik's & Makcik's new house with 7 of us ended with only 5 - Pakcik, Makcik, Wak, Minah & me.

Nice change for a start. Because 1) we dun have to make any reservations, 2) it's potluck; more variety & 3) we had the entire haven to ourselves. =)

I rushed off after work to buy Murtabak. My first & last time taking bus service 2 from work. I alighted feeling so light-headed and on the brink of vomitting. Under Makcik's suggestion, I bought 2 mutton murtabaks. Hurried over to Cold Storage, bought chicken and headed home.

Met Minah an hour later @ our usual bus-stop. 4 of us break fast together & did our Maghrib prayers. Wak arrived much later from his class with curry puffs. Ulcer in my mouth kinda spoilt my appetite. Surprisingly we couldn't finish our food. Makcik packed the remainder for all of us before we left.

Gudnite!

Chinese Astrology of me?

Makcik, thanx for the analysis. Each time I discover something new. =)

Personality and Character

You seem to deal with trauma better and will recover faster than most people. You are sensible and are not afraid to surrender when there is no alternative. Being a realist and not a daydreamer you will take a methodical approach in accomplishing your task. Instead of whimpering about how miserable you feel inside, you take great pains to show the best side by improving confidence in others. You prefer to do things at your own rhythms and therefore you do not need companion for activities or second opinion to know what you enjoy in life. You are bright, funny, good listener and are also skilful with your hands.

You are responsible, reliable and a supporter of traditions and customs. You possess the leadership quality and always command respect from others especially your peers. You can be a tough, rough and a ruthless person if the circumstances require it of you.

Romance and Compatibilities

Faithfulness in relationship is related to loyalty, friendship and dedication. You will never get involved with a long term affair or marriage that threatens to compromise your freedom. You demand for mutual respect for lasting and reciprocate love. You will probably be discouraged from an early marriage. You should be very compatible to Cancer, Virgo and Capricorn born in Dragon/Rat years.

Where love is concerned you are very confident of what you are getting into. You are not only solid and generous but can also handle love without being suspicious or jealous. Though outwardly not demonstrative in your love but inwardly, you are passionate and your partner or lover may consider you as unromantic or unsure of your love for him/her. You prefer solid love rather than frivolous flings and look for a long-term relationship.

Profession

As you are affable, enjoy meeting and exchanging ideas with people, you are good in sales and public relations. Jobs or careers that allow for mobility will suit you. Once interested in a subject you will research it to gain more knowledge.

You are a trustworthy, solid and a confident person. You will excel in industries like construction and manufacturing. You enjoy and are drawn to solid work like building and constructions of highway, bridge and real estate. So logical professions like architecture, civil engineer, surveyor, mining engineering and any other careers related to solid work are suitable for you.

Err... is accountancy considered as solid work? Heehee! =p

Breaking fast in BK.

Was requested to report for work in office again. Slightly puzzling since my schedule stated that I need only go there last Tuesday. Elly was already in the office when I arrived. Her face lit up and she greeted a hearty "Good morning!" =)

Had to tabulate inventory of another outlet today. I pound the keyboard like there was no tomorrow. Today is the first day of Ramadhan. I don't want to leave office @ 8pm again.

Elly & I intended to leave office @ 5.30pm. Some last minute stuffs came up and we finally left @ 6.30pm! In the end, I had dinner in Bugis BK.

To all the Muslims, Happy Fasting!

What's the date today?

Had to report for work in HQ @ Bedok this morning. Luckily bumped into Elly @ the bus stop. We managed to grab our breakfast before settling down to work. GM arrived, instructed me to tabulate the inventory and I spent hours on the PC.

The first time I came down to the office was during the interview. Then, I saw at least 5 staffs. Now it's just Elly and the GM.

Time really flies when one is hard at work. I went out for lunch with Elly @ Simpang Bedok. Finished our noodles and drink in 1/2 hour. Headed back to office and slogged till 8pm. By then, many of the directors had come and left. SL & the GM were the only ones still in the office. They gave me fare to take a cab home. =) Thanx!

Whatever it is... I definitely owe Sayang a good treat.

What training?

2nd day of work and my colleague, R, is on off. Argh! I'm left alone to do the settlement. Very thankful for having helpful colleagues around. Still, wouldn't want to bother them too much as they have their own tasks expected.

My workplace is near to home. Unless R is not around, I spend my 2 hours' break at home. The nearest workplace ever!

I know that today's settlement is one big mess. More than glad to see R tomorrow. For now, please excuse me while I soaked my feet in hot water. =)

Argh! Such a dilemma...

Gosh... really wonder how some people can stand the cold all day. I'm freezing my tail (if I had one) off! Been 2 hours since I left IMM but I'm still feeling cold. Brrr!

Was up and about once again in the early morning. Either I am getting old or I'm not the type to stand/sit still... my feets are so sore that I'm staggering!

This morning I was promoting foodstuffs. My supervisor had requested that I continue for 2 weeks. By late afternoon, I had to eat back every single word of commitment. I received a call confirming my application for a perm job. Half a heart was jumping with joy, the other half sank.

I tried to satisfy both parties. One was asking for an extension of at least 1 more day, the other was telling me to report for training the next day. Tug of war... pulling me apart.

I was cornered when both dumped the final decision to me. Call me selfish but I can no longer stand rotting at home. Training tomorrow.
