1 month old

My Saturday was spent with little Prince Ehsan. Every 4 hours he drinks, looks around then sleep. Sigh... =)

Deafening

The fire alarm in my office building went off... TWICE!

Loud shrill rang continuously for 5 minutes. Then there was the automated announcement over the intercom. Followed by some static background noise. Nope, it's not a drill. Got triggered off for unknown reasons - false alarm.

Now my ears are blocked.

Weird dream

I dreamt there were 4 of us
Chilling out in town
I know it's not real
Yet I continued dreaming on

I dreamt there were 4 of us
Eating & yakking
It's been ages since we did that
Yet I continued dreaming on

I dreamt there were 4 of us
And another 2 came along
It's odd that they soon left
Yet I continued dreaming on

I dreamt there were 4 of us
Then someone's mobile rang
A "Hello" and many giggles later
Yet I continued dreaming on

I dreamt there were 4 of us
But 2 were in a world of their own
It felt pretty normal
And so I continued dreaming on

Then weirdness struck

I dreamt there were 4 of us
Out of the blue, one said "I'm getting married soon"
I was struck dumbfounded
And then my mobile rang.

My dream were the 4 of us
And that strikingly odd statement
What on earth was that all about?
I'll never get to find out. Sheesh!

Undecided

I went to Suntec City twice last Friday with my colleague to visit the IT fair. Alas, I'm still without a new digicam. =(

Rebecca got her new webcam. We went around so many booths to collect brochures, sampled and made enquiries. I got confused reading so many reviews.

In no order of preference, I've these digicams in consideration:
1) Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX9:
- 6 Megapix with OIS, 2.5" LCD, LEICA lens

2) Nikon Coolpix P4:
- 8.1 Megapix, 2.5" LCD, 3.5 optic zoom

3) Canon PowerShot A620:
- 7.1 Megapix CCD, swivel LCD

I find ultra-compact cameras somewhat a hazard to my fingers (which can be like melted-butter at times). Yeah, there's the lanyard but no thanks. Unless they can also be damage-proof (to the camera, my head & my heart), they can never make it into my list.

Asking my Dad for his opinions was a mistake. He's pro-SLR. I'm a photo-enthusiast but I don't need that kinda bulk in my bag everyday.

So... for now, I will continue to depend on the outdated, free Sony CyberShot 2.0 megapixel digicam. Sony didn't make it to my list thanks to Kenny's review. Till June, latest. ;)

P.S The Doctor, my deepest condolences. Keep faith.

Thanx Marilyn

Dinner @ Swensen's was good. I had Salmon with Fries and Marilyn even gave a slice of her pizza.

We were both full.

Sorry but gotta postpone the desserts. Next time, Dearie will join us too ok? =P

Teardrops

For 25 years of my life, the background of my maternal grandmother has always been a question mark.

Each time I asked, I got a piece of jigsaw puzzle.

Today I finally obtained the last piece... at her funeral. Al-Fateha.
