Dear Diary,

This is part of the reason why I cannot keep you... moments of long silence and blank pages. Not because there are no happenings. Far from it. I suppose it is once of those reflective moments when I juz ponder too much.

I received the most updates from my family & frens this month. Simply great, outta the world kind of news. Coincidentally it seems that everyone is making significant progress in our lives - moving on to the next step.

I'm not going to deny or overlook any obstacles or hardships that may come our way. But for the time being, let me appreciate this blessed moment. God, my prayers for these people who have touched my life. =)

Sapsuka

Usually, Dad is the first person to wake up in my home. The first to shower and the first to leave for work. Past week however, he woke up later than usual. Partly because of Teachers' Day... then there was the school holidays and now it's paper marking.

Today was his last paper marking day. He got up early and cooked Sapsuka for family and his colleagues! Not to sure what got into him but the eggs were not runny as they were supposed to be. He blamed it on the strong heat.

I had my Sapsuka breakfast served piping hot at home. Yummy!

Never forgotten, Amin

I lost touch with one of my younger cuz, Amin. I don't think we met during last year's Hari Raya. Even if we did, I couldn't remember. Did we?

Out of the blue, I was added into his MSN contacts. His email was unfamiliar and his brother didn't even bother to inform me. My jaw dropped to the table when I received a very personal message from this 'unknown userID'. It was a momentarily terrifying experience...

Once all clouds of doubt were cleared, I was jubilant. Looks like I was not forgotten. Ha ha ok ok, it was nice to 'hear' from him too. Whatever little time we had, we gave our updates. I could hardly believe my eyes to know that this cuz of mine is now a smart lad going thru NS. Wasn't it only yesterday that he aspires to be the next Superman? =P

Amin, you have no excuse now for not turning up!

Seasick

I'm in a ship. No... a boat. Mmm, fishing sampan perhaps? Getting a headache with 3 captains who are steering in different directions. Am I suppose to grow more hands and legs?
